Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd announced today that it has signed lease agreements with Hainan Airlines for four new Boeing 737-8 aircraft. These planes are set to be delivered in late 2025 and early 2026.

Firoz Tarapore, the CEO of DAE, said, “We are happy to strengthen our partnership with Hainan Airlines. This agreement shows the strong relationship we’ve built over the years, and we appreciate their trust in DAE as we continue to meet their fleet needs.”

The new Boeing 737-8 aircraft will help Hainan Airlines grow and achieve its operational goals. Tarapore expressed his wishes for Hainan Airlines’ continued success and excitement to see the positive impact these planes will have on their fleet.

Yu Chaojie, the CEO of Hainan Airlines, commented, “We are grateful for DAE’s ongoing trust and support. Adding these new Boeing aircraft to our fleet is an investment in our growth and a sign of the strong partnership we’ve developed.

By lowering the average age of our planes, these new aircraft will greatly help modernize our fleet. This will improve our operational efficiency, cut costs, boost fuel efficiency, and lower maintenance expenses, all important in today’s competitive airline market.”

The Boeing 737 MAX is known for its better efficiency, improved environmental performance, and greater comfort for passengers. With CFM International LEAP-1B engines and advanced wing technology, the 737 MAX provides excellent economics, reducing fuel use and emissions by 20% compared to older aircraft. DAE currently owns and manages a total of 500 aircraft, including 215 from Boeing, and plans to expand its fleet to meet increasing market demands.
