The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi has officially opened its newly upgraded consular halls. The consulate aimed at providing a more efficient and comfortable experience for the significant Pakistani community residing in the UAE.
The seating capacity is now doubled. The consular halls feature advanced amenities designed to minimize waiting times. They have enhanced the overall experience for visitors.
A standout addition to the facility is a new queue management system (QMS). It has been introduced to facilitate a smoother flow of visitors seeking consular services.
This system is expected to significantly cut down waiting times for essential services such as passport renewals, attestations, and other important assistance for Pakistani ex-pats.
This upgrade reflects the embassy’s commitment to better serve the second-largest expatriate community in the UAE. They ensure overseas Pakistanis have timely access to necessary services.
Collaborative Effort
The renovation was made possible through a partnership between the Government of Pakistan and Al Ansari Exchange. It is a prominent financial services provider in the UAE.
The facility was inaugurated by Faisal Niaz Tirmizi who is Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE and Rashed Al Ansari who is the CEO of Al Ansari Exchange. During the inauguration, officials unveiled a curtain.
They toured the new passport and attestation sections. The event was attended by dignitaries, Emirati nationals, and members of the Pakistani expatriate community.
Commitment to Efficient Services
In his speech, Ambassador Tirmizi reaffirmed the Pakistani government is dedicated to providing efficient and accessible consular services for overseas Pakistanis. He also expressed appreciation to Al Ansari Exchange for its ongoing support.
