As the vote approaches, Americans are feeling the pressure of choosing between two vastly different candidates. People are waiting in line to cast their votes during early voting for the US general election at a polling station. The polling station is situated at Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on November 3, 2024.

Election day has arrived, and the world is closely watching as American voters find themselves in a precarious situation. They are sharply divided between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, with tensions running high.

This election holds significance not just for Americans; it carries global ramifications. The world is going through various conflicts in the Middle East and Europe along with crucial issues like trade and migration.

The next US president will have a substantial impact on international relations. Republican Trump, 78, is confident of a “landslide” victory. He aims for a dramatic return to the White House.

On the other hand, Democrat Harris, 60, believes that the “momentum” is in her favor. She strives to become America’s first female president.

On the eve of the election, Americans are feeling the strain. They have been confronted with two starkly different candidates and visions for the future. The voters are preparing for the results and the potential unrest that may follow.

Many Americans are expressing their exhaustion and frustration over the ongoing political struggle. “It feels out of my control. It’s like this base level of stress,” said Cheryl Stevens, 55, after a yoga session designed to alleviate election anxiety in Reston, Virginia.
