Mumbai Police confirmed on Thursday that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a threatening call. A case has been filed under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) BNS at the Bandra police station.

The police have traced the call back to Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Authorities have dispatched teams to Chhattisgarh, and the investigation is currently ongoing.

Previous Threats to Salman Khan

On November 5, Mumbai Police also received a threat against actor Salman Khan, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The threat gave Salman two choices: apologize or pay Rs50 million to ensure his safety.

The Mumbai Police traffic control room received the threatening message via WhatsApp, stating that if Salman wanted to remain alive, he must visit their temple to apologize or pay the hefty sum. The message, claiming to be from Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, warned of lethal consequences if he failed to comply.

The police noted that the message was received on Monday, and an investigation has begun. This marks the second death threat against Salman Khan in just a week. The earlier threat also demanded Rs20 million from the actor, further escalating concerns.

On October 24, Mumbai Police arrested a man from Jamshedpur for threatening Salman Khan in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, demanding a ransom of Rs50 million. Authorities registered a case against an unknown individual and initiated an investigation after the threatening message was reported to Mumbai Traffic Police.
