The Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial has officially kicked off and will run until April 30, transforming Abu Dhabi and Al Ain into expansive outdoor art showcases. With over 70 local and international artists, the event features performances, site-specific installations, and a variety of art routes for visitors to explore.

Highlights from the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial

Abu Dhabi Corniche

A prime location in the city, the Corniche displays works by eight artists and collectives, including Wael Al Awar, Oscar Murillo, and Farah Al Qasimi. Art installations are spread along the waterfront with stunning skyline views.

Abu Dhabi Public Parks

A prime location in the city, the Corniche displays works by eight artists and collectives, including Wael Al Awar, Oscar Murillo, and Farah Al Qasimi. Art installations are spread along the waterfront with stunning skyline views.

Abu Dhabi Public Parks

The parks near the Corniche are showcasing pieces by 11 artists. The walking tour highlights works from Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Kader Attia, and Abdullah Al Saadi, among others, in this lush, family-friendly area.

Bus Terminal

The modernist Abu Dhabi Bus Terminal features works by six artists, including Zeinab Alhashemi and Henrique Oliveira, blending architecture and art.

Downtown Abu Dhabi

The downtown walking route combines traditional souqs and modern spaces with artworks by six artists, such as Mohammed Al Hawajri and Azza Al Qubaisi.

Cultural Foundation

As a historic art and culture hub, the Cultural Foundation exhibits works from seven artists, including Mohamed Al Astad and Wael Shawky.

Carpet Souq

This bustling marketplace features installations by five artists, blending the region’s cultural heritage with contemporary art.

National Theatre and Umm Al Emarat Park

The iconic National Theatre and nearby park showcase family-friendly attractions and art pieces by Afra Al Dhaheri and Kabir Mohanty.

Al Ain Oasis

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Al Ain Oasis highlights works by seven artists amid ancient irrigation systems and Bronze Age tombs.

Visitor Hubs

Explore hubs across major locations, offering dining, unique merchandise, and information to enhance your visit.

Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial runs daily from 10 am to 10 pm (Monday-Thursday) and 10 am to midnight (Friday-Sunday). Don’t miss this captivating cultural experience!
