Dubai Police have arrested William Pereira Rogatto, a Brazilian national listed on Interpol’s Red Notice, for his role in fraud in Brazil. According to the authority’s social media post, Rogatto was involved in manipulating football match results and profiting illegally through bets on international sports betting platforms.

The 34-year-old was apprehended after arriving in Dubai from Europe on a visit. Dubai Police confirmed the arrest as part of their ongoing efforts to tackle global crime.

Colonel Tariq Hilal Al Suwaidi, Director of the Wanted Persons Department at Dubai’s General Department of Criminal Investigations, stated that the arrest underscores the force’s commitment to international cooperation.

By working with law enforcement agencies worldwide, Dubai Police aim to combat transnational organized crime and enhance global security through knowledge sharing and robust crime-fighting strategies.
