UAE Weather Alert: Red Warning for Fog as Temperatures Fall

On Tuesday morning, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warned motorists about poor visibility caused by fog. The alert highlighted the risk of reduced horizontal visibility in some coastal and internal areas, lasting until 9:30 AM.

The weather department issued a red alert and shared a map showing the most affected areas. To stay informed, you can follow updates on WhatsApp Channels.

While foggy conditions were expected this morning, the rest of the day is likely to be fair to partly cloudy. There is also a chance of convective clouds forming in eastern areas.

Temperature Updates:

  • Mountains: As low as 12ºC
  • Internal areas: Up to 33ºC

Despite cooler temperatures in the mountains, the weather is expected to be humid at night and early Wednesday morning. Humidity may lead to fog or mist in western regions.

Sea Conditions:

Slight waves in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Stay cautious on the roads, especially in areas with reduced visibility, and keep an eye on weather updates for the latest changes.
