A Kuwaiti court has sentenced a policeman to 10 years in prison on terrorism charges, which include inciting a colleague to carry out an attack. The criminal court found the defendant guilty of encouraging another officer to detonate a bomb at a military camp and sharing videos that supported the Daesh terrorist group.

Additionally, the defendant faced charges of acquiring explosive-making skills, pledging allegiance to Daesh, and urging others to join the militia. Two other individuals involved in the case were acquitted.

The three men were apprehended by the State Security Service and charged with conspiring to blow up a military camp that houses U.S. forces. This conviction represents a significant step in Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to tackle terrorism and extremism within the nation.
