53GB Free Data on Eid Al Etihad? UAE Telcos Issue Scam Warning

admin

UAE’s leading telecom provider, e&, has issued a strong warning to customers about a viral scam that claims to offer 53GB of free data in celebration of the upcoming Eid Al Etihad holidays. This scam, which is spreading through WhatsApp and other platforms, has been misleading customers with attractive offers.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), e& confirmed that the offer is fraudulent and urged users to always check links before clicking on them.

Be Aware of Social Media Scams
This alert comes in response to the widespread misinformation about free data and other deceptive incentives, such as “winning lotteries,” that are targeting telecom users. Previously, e& has warned customers about similar scams, where fraudsters use fake promotions to steal personal information or lead users to dangerous websites.

Stay Safe This Holiday Season
As Eid Al Etihad approaches, e& encourages all customers to remain cautious and only trust offers that are communicated through official channels.
