Hala, the leading e-hailing taxi service in Dubai, is transforming urban mobility through customer-focused innovations and strategic improvements in its operations. Khaled Nuseibeh, the CEO of Hala, emphasizes the company’s dedication to minimizing wait times by ensuring that the right number of taxis are available during busy periods.

As a joint venture between Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Careem, Hala has effectively utilized technology to improve the user experience. The launch of WhatsApp-based taxi bookings has been particularly beneficial for tourists, who make up 70% of these bookings. This feature provides easy access for travelers who may not be familiar with local apps or systems.

Hala also addresses various commuting needs, including trips to and from metro stations, in line with Dubai’s broader smart mobility goals. Nuseibeh points out the company’s commitment to expanding into new markets and competing by offering exceptional services.

With regular service enhancements and a proactive approach to operational efficiency, Hala remains a vital part of Dubai’s transportation ecosystem, fulfilling the needs of both residents and visitors.
