Mohammed bin Rashid Welcomes Philippine President in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, recently met with the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who was on his first official visit to the UAE.

During their meeting, both leaders talked about the strong relationship between the UAE and the Philippines and discussed ways to make these ties even stronger. They explored opportunities to boost trade, attract investments, and create more chances for professionals and service providers from both countries.

Both leaders expressed optimism about their collaboration and shared a vision for mutual growth and development.

HH Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the UAE’s dedication to enhancing economic cooperation with the Philippines. He also acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Filipino community in the UAE, recognizing their role in the country’s progress.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. praised the UAE’s visionary leadership and its consistent support for the Philippines. He expressed gratitude for the UAE’s timely assistance during challenging times.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council; Her Excellency Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; and His Excellency Mohamed Obaid Alqataam Alzaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to the Philippines
