Pakistan made light work of the 146-run target, reaching 148 without losing a wicket in just 18.2 overs. Earlier, Zimbabwe, who opted to bat first after winning the toss, were bowled out for 145 in 32.3 overs.

Spinner Abrar Ahmed impressed with a 4-33 spell, while Salman Ali Agha contributed with 3-26, dismantling Zimbabwe’s batting lineup. The disciplined bowling effort ensured Pakistan had an easy chase ahead.

Saim Ayub’s Spectacular Knock

Saim Ayub, aged 22, stole the show with his first-ever ODI century, completing the milestone in just 53 balls. His explosive knock of 113 not out included stunning shots to all parts of the ground.

Meanwhile, his opening partner Abdullah Shafique provided steady support, remaining unbeaten on 32.

Strong Comeback After First ODI Loss

This dominant performance was a stark contrast to Pakistan’s underwhelming display in the first match on Sunday, where Zimbabwe secured an 80-run victory via the DLS method after rain interrupted play.

Series Decider on Thursday

The final ODI will take place on Thursday in Bulawayo, with both teams looking to take the series win. Following the ODIs, Pakistan and Zimbabwe will engage in a three-match T20 series.
