Dubai Reserves 4 Beaches for Families During UAE National Day Weekend

During the UAE National Day weekend, four public beaches in Dubai will be exclusively reserved for families. From November 30 to December 3, the designated family-only beaches are Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2.

Both public and private sector employees will enjoy a four-day weekend to celebrate UAE National Day, now officially called Eid Al Etihad.

Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, Director of Public Beaches and Waterways Department at Dubai Municipality, shared the purpose behind this initiative. He said:“Reserving Dubai’s public beaches for families during Eid Al Etihad aims to manage the number of visitors, especially as public holidays bring large crowds. This move ensures families can enjoy Dubai’s beaches during the holiday.”

To maintain safety, Dubai Municipality has deployed an “integrated safety and rescue team” with 135 personnel. Additionally, a 60-member field supervisory team will monitor and manage beach operations throughout the long weekend.

The civic body, in collaboration with its partners, will oversee all beach activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for families during the festivities.
