With a long weekend approaching and a surge in demand expected, commuters traveling between Dubai and Abu Dhabi can opt for taxis. Recently, the RTA introduced a taxi-sharing pilot service, offering significant savings of up to 75% on travel costs. This initiative aims to make intercity travel more convenient and affordable.

New Bus Routes Launching November 29

Dubai will also introduce three new bus routes starting Friday, November 29:

  1. Route 108: Directly connects Satwa Bus Station to Global Village. This route will operate Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during special events.
    • Service Hours: 2 PM to 1 AM
    • Frequency: Every 60 minutes
    • Total Trips: 11 per direction daily
  2. Route F63: Details on this route are yet to be disclosed but will provide additional connectivity within Dubai.
  3. Route J05: Another new service expanding the city’s transport network.

These changes reflect Dubai’s commitment to enhancing public transport accessibility, especially during high-demand periods. Whether you’re commuting locally or traveling between cities, these updates ensure smoother, cost-effective journeys.
