The Umm Al Quwain Police have introduced a 50% discount on traffic fines from December 1, 2024, to January 5, 2025. This discount applies to all traffic violations committed in the emirate before December 1, 2024.

The initiative also includes the cancellation of vehicle impoundments and black points on driving records. However, it does not cover serious violations.

This announcement comes as part of the preparations for the 53rd UAE National Day celebrations, also known as Eid Al Etihad.

The Umm Al Quwain Police encourage all vehicle owners to take advantage of this opportunity to clear their outstanding fines. They also reminded residents to follow traffic rules, emphasizing that this initiative aligns with the Ministry of Interior’s goal to enhance road safety and improve public satisfaction.
