. Beginning on the evening of December 1st, the Dubai Metro will run with extended hours, providing greater convenience for residents and visitors looking to partake in holiday festivities and events throughout the city. This extension will enable travelers to benefit from late-night services, ensuring they can return home safely after enjoying various national and cultural activities.

Alongside the extended Metro hours, the RTA is also offering free parking in all public parking zones across Dubai for the duration of the long holiday weekend. This complimentary parking initiative will apply to all areas overseen by the RTA, allowing residents and visitors to fully enjoy the celebrations without the burden of parking fees. This effort is part of the government’s strategy to encourage greater participation in public events and to facilitate easier and more affordable travel within the city during this busy time.

While these transport enhancements are aimed at benefiting the public, the RTA has also announced the temporary closure of vehicle testing centers and Customer Happiness Centres. These closures will begin on December 2nd and will last until the holiday period concludes. This aligns with the authority’s standard holiday schedule, allowing staff to celebrate the national occasion with their families. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead for any essential transactions or services to avoid any inconvenience.

RTA’s special holiday services are crafted to ensure a seamless and festive experience for everyone, as the UAE celebrates its 53rd National Day in style. With improved public transport and waived parking fees, the public can easily engage in the country’s celebrations.
