To celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day), the Umm Al Quwain Traffic Department has introduced a generous 50 per cent discount on traffic fines. Announced on November 28, 2024, this initiative is designed to assist all motorists, regardless of whether their vehicles are registered in Umm Al Quwain or other emirates, as long as the violation took place within the emirate.

This limited-time offer allows drivers to settle outstanding fines, release impounded vehicles, and reduce black points at a significantly lower cost. It reflects the UAE’s commitment to encouraging adherence to traffic laws and helping motorists manage their vehicle-related responsibilities more effectively.

How to Take Advantage of the Discount
Motorists can benefit from this 50 per cent reduction by paying their outstanding traffic violations before the deadline. To do this, drivers are encouraged to visit the Umm Al Quwain Traffic Department’s website or service centers to check their fines and make payments. The process is designed to be straightforward and efficient for all applicants.

Key Details to Note:
Eligibility: Open to all motorists, including those with vehicles registered outside Umm Al Quwain.
Conditions: The offer is valid only for traffic fines incurred in Umm Al Quwain.
Deadline: Motorists should consult the Traffic Department for specific terms and dates to utilize this discount.
This initiative presents a great opportunity for drivers to address their penalties and prevent further issues, contributing to a more compliant and safer road environment in the emirate.
