The UAE Kickboxing Championship wrapped up on November 24 after three thrilling days of action at Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi.

This year’s event set a new record, attracting 650 athletes from 41 clubs, making it the largest kickboxing championship in UAE history.

The final day of the competition saw the presence of notable figures, including Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi, a Board Member of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, and Ali Khouri, a Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the International Kickboxing Federation (WAKO).

In a dominant performance, Tiger Club secured the top position, earning 15 gold, eight silver, and seven bronze medals, excelling in the Point Fight and Kick Light categories.

Al Nasr Club claimed second place with 10 gold, 12 silver, and 12 bronze medals, while Al Khaleej Club finished third, bagging nine gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals.

This championship was part of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation’s packed event calendar, aimed at nurturing talent and growing the sport’s presence. Open to participants aged 7 to 40, the tournament drew a lively crowd of families and supporters, creating an electric atmosphere.

Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of the Asian and Arab Muay Thai Federations and the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, shared his pride in the event’s success.

“We deeply appreciate the continuous support of our wise leadership, which drives the advancement of sports in the UAE. This championship reflects the growth of kickboxing in our country, with record participation and an incredible competitive spirit,” Al Neyadi said.

“As we prepare to host the 2025 World Kickboxing Championship, we are committed to strategic plans that increase the sport’s reach, improve skill levels, and position the UAE as a global kickboxing hub. This event is a key step in that journey, reinforcing our development initiatives.”
