The MOTN Festival has returned to the Abu Dhabi Corniche, running until the end of December, bringing exciting activities, live entertainment, and unique food experiences for all ages. This year, the event embraces a futuristic space exploration theme, adding an imaginative twist to its rides, immersive games, and interactive tunnels.
Now in its eighth edition, the festival is bigger and better than ever. Fadi Khouri, the marketing manager, shared, “This year’s event is packed with first-time activities and themes that appeal to kids, teens, and adults alike.”
The festival also highlights an impressive lineup of food vendors, some brought to Abu Dhabi for the first time due to popular demand. For example, London’s famous Chin Chin Ice Cream is now in the UAE, offering innovative flavors like black sesame tahini halva and coffee olive oil, all crafted with liquid nitrogen for a spectacular presentation.
The Food Hall Dome also features mouth-watering delights like Frank! Hotdogs, Voodoo Rays’ giant pizza slices, and Peckish’s smashed burgers.
Fans of Australian TikTok sensation Brooki lined up to try her freshly baked fluffy cookies, making the food offerings a key attraction this year.
On opening day, families gathered to meet Ninja Kidz, the social media-famous parkour performers from the US. Their energetic martial arts stunts and acrobatics were a crowd favorite. Visitors can also explore the Ninja Kidz-themed trampoline park to try their own ninja-inspired moves until the festival ends.
Music enthusiasts are also in for a treat with performances by Oumaima, Ayed Youssef, Muslim, Siilawy, and A5RASS, culminating with a special New Year’s Eve show by Mohamed Hamaki.
For thrill-seekers, MOTN offers the Space Flight experience, simulating a skydiving astronaut in an open-air wind tunnel. The ride comes with stunning views of the Abu Dhabi Corniche and its coastline. Horror lovers can test their bravery at the Thrill Zone, featuring a live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s maze, where staged actors deliver unexpected scares.
The augmented games hall challenges participants’ reflexes with fun activities like digital football, a disappearing trail game, and a rotating spin-wheel obstacle course.
For those looking for Instagram-worthy moments, the Out of This World Museum provides creative photo opportunities. Visitors can explore the Dream Nebula, Time Vortex, and Cosmic Lab, making the festival a visual treat.
MOTN Festival runs daily from 4 PM to midnight and extends until 1 AM on New Year’s Eve. It’s a perfect way to celebrate the season with unforgettable experiences.
