Meera’s incredible journey began at the young age of 3 when she took up horseback riding, winning her first competition in dressage. At 5, she participated in her first karate competition, and by 6, she started collecting medals in both karate and kickboxing. By 7, this talented Emirati earned her junior black belt.

Today, her accomplishments include nine gold medals in karate and multiple victories in kickboxing, marking her as a rising star in the sports world.

First International Win

Meera’s most notable achievement was winning her first international karate competition in Oman on December 2, 2022, UAE National Day. Representing her country with pride, she raised the UAE flag as she claimed first place.

In addition to international victories, Meera has triumphed in UAE competitions, including the UAE Karate Federation Championship 2022, the Dubai Budokan Cup 2023 and 2024, and the UAE Muaythai and Kickboxing Federation 2024.

Success in Modeling

Beyond sports, Meera has built an impressive modeling career. Starting at just 5 years old, she has been featured in over 85 advertising campaigns for top brands like Etisalat, Home Centre, and Harvey Nichols. She was also celebrated as an Emirati karate champion in a campaign for Emirati Women’s Day, showcasing her dual talents. Meera frequently collaborates with her brother Marwan, adding a personal and family-oriented touch to her projects.

Exploring New Challenges

Recently, Meera began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is preparing for her first competition in early 2025. She also enjoys roller skating, horse riding, and swimming, balancing these hobbies with her sports training. Despite her busy schedule, Meera excels in academics, consistently achieving high grades.

Daily Routine and Support

Meera’s disciplined daily routine starts at 6 a.m., reviewing lessons before school from 7:40 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. In the afternoons, she trains from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., alternating between karate, kickboxing, and Jiu-Jitsu. Weekends are reserved for additional training and hobbies, with Saturdays set aside for family time.

Her mother shared, “I will always support my daughter’s wants and needs.” She credits Base Martial Academy and Rak Academy for encouraging Meera to pursue her dreams.

Meera is determined to continue winning championships and aspires to compete in the Olympics one day. “If you don’t see yourself as a winner, you can’t perform as a winner,” Meera said, reflecting her inspiring mindset.
