Apple has revealed plans to open its first flagship retail stores in Saudi Arabia by 2026, with an online Apple Store set to launch as early as summer 2025. This move marks a significant milestone, as customers in the Kingdom will soon have access to Apple’s full product lineup with direct service and support available in Arabic.

Apple CEO Tim Cook highlighted the company’s commitment to connecting with Saudi customers and supporting their ambitions. He expressed enthusiasm about offering a wide range of shopping options, product comparisons, and financing solutions, along with personalized service and device setup guidance from Apple’s expert team members.

A Landmark Location at Diriyah

Apple’s plans include a standout retail location in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, emphasizing the brand’s intention to blend innovation with cultural significance.

Investing in Saudi Arabia’s Future

Apple has already made significant contributions to Saudi Arabia. The Apple Developer Academy, launched in 2021 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh, trains women in coding, design, and entrepreneurship. Many graduates have developed successful apps, driving the country’s app economy forward.

Over the last five years, Apple has invested more than 10 billion SAR in local businesses and supported innovations such as Apple Pay for public transit.
