Preparations are in full swing for the highly anticipated Union Fortress 10 Military Parade, set to take place on Friday, December 13, at 4 PM. The event will be hosted at a 26,000-seat arena at Al Ain International Airport, offering an exciting showcase of the UAE’s military strength and coordination.
Organized by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and held under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed, this parade will spotlight the readiness of the UAE Armed Forces, featuring various formations and units.
Theme and Key Participants
This year’s event carries the theme “Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity”.
Key units such as the Land Force, Air Force and Air Defence, Presidential Guard, Joint Aviation, National Guard, and Abu Dhabi Police will collaborate with the Ministry of Defence to make the 10th edition of this premier national event unforgettable.
Entertainment Village for Families
To ensure an engaging experience for all attendees, the MoD is also launching an entertainment village at the event site. Open to the public from 10 AM to 10 PM, the village will offer a variety of activities for children and families. Visitors can enjoy events, learn about the Armed Forces’ role in safeguarding the nation, and explore dedicated educational spaces.
A Legacy of National Pride
The Union Fortress Parade has a rich history, with its inaugural edition held at Abu Dhabi Corniche in March 2017. Over the years, the event has traveled across various emirates, showcasing the unity and strength of the UAE Armed Forces.
