Smart Service by Abu Dhabi Judicial Department for Eligible Motorists

Motorists with traffic fines in Abu Dhabi can now instantly request reductions through a new AI-powered smart service, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) announced on October 24. This service, available 24/7, uses AI to analyze and verify data without any human involvement, enabling a swift processing of discount requests.

“The UAE regulatory authorities continue to conduct regular inspections to ensure that all food facilities meet safety and quality standards,” stated the ADJD on social media.

Motorists seeking to transfer their fines to the court for a potential reduction can do so through the ADJD website. Here’s a step-by-step guide to using the service:

  1. Go to adjd.gov.ae.
  2. Select ‘Prosecutions’ from the top menu and click on ‘Request to transfer traffic violations to court.’
  3. Click ‘Start’ and choose ‘Abu Dhabi Police’ for traffic-related fines.
  4. Attach a copy of your traffic violation, available on the Tamm website (tamm.abudhabi) or the ‘Tamm’ mobile app for Apple and Android.
  5. Submit the application.

What Happens Next?

Once submitted, your application will be automatically processed, with the discount immediately applied by the court. You’ll then receive an SMS link or see it under ‘My applications’ on the ADJD website to pay the final fine amount. Additionally, ADJD provides proof of ‘wanted order’ cancellation upon payment.
