Abu Dhabi Launches Unlimited Bus Travel Pass Starting at Dh35

Residents and visitors in Abu Dhabi can now enjoy unlimited bus travel with affordable weekly and monthly passes, starting from just Dh35. The initiative aims to make public transport more accessible and cost-effective, encouraging more people to use buses for their daily commutes. Whether you’re a daily commuter, a student, or a tourist exploring the city, these passes offer significant savings compared to regular fares.

The weekly bus pass is priced at Dh35, allowing unlimited travel for seven days, while the monthly pass costs Dh95, providing unlimited rides for 30 days. These passes cover all public buses operating across Abu Dhabi, ensuring seamless connectivity within the emirate. The initiative is expected to ease travel expenses and promote the use of sustainable transportation.

To purchase a bus pass, commuters can visit Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) kiosks, ticket vending machines at major bus stations, and designated retail outlets. Alternatively, passengers can also buy and recharge their passes through the Hafilat smart card system, available at authorized centers across the city. Users need to tap their Hafilat card upon boarding to validate their journey.

With Abu Dhabi continuously enhancing its public transport infrastructure, this initiative aligns with the city’s vision of reducing traffic congestion and lowering carbon emissions. For frequent travelers, the unlimited pass offers both convenience and affordability, making public transport a more attractive option for daily commuting.
