The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship (ADWPJJC) is taking place from November 6-16 at the iconic Mubadala Arena. It is organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. This year’s championship is set to be historic.
Over 9,000 athletes from 137 countries will take part in this competition. It also includes a remarkable prize pool exceeding Dh3 million. For the first time, competitors from prestigious clubs and academies will gather in Abu Dhabi. They will solidify the city’s reputation as a leading jiu-jitsu destination.
The ADWPJJC is well-known for its high-stakes and thrilling competition. Many world champions credit their success to the exposure they gained at this event. The competition attracts the best athletes to show their skills on an international stage.
This year’s championship features a wide range of divisions. It includes categories for kids, youth, amateurs, masters, professionals, and para-jiu-jitsu athletes. The event will conclude with the esteemed Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Awards on November 17. It will honor the exceptional athletes and clubs that have excelled globally.
