Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO of ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S), announced impressive growth in their fleet of integrated logistics and shipping services with the signing of contracts totaling $4.4 billion with various international companies. These agreements include the construction of 10 new LNG carriers, 9 Very Large Ethane Carriers, and 4 Very Large Ammonia carriers, marking a strategic move towards reducing global emissions and addressing the rising demand for energy.
The announcement took place during ADIPEC 2024, where Al Masabi emphasized the company’s commitment to an integrated strategy that incorporates global expertise. “We are dedicated to expanding our fleet to satisfy the increasing global demand,” he stated. “These shipbuilding contracts represent a strategic advancement in enhancing our capabilities and aiding in the reduction of global emissions.”
