When visited the site on Monday, the building’s facade was seen covered in black soot, while ground-floor retail shops remained closed.

To ensure public safety, authorities have sealed off the street in front of the building. Only one lane remains open to allow vehicle passage and facilitate emergency operations.

According to an eyewitness, firefighters and first responders arrived within minutes of the fire being reported. The building was evacuated swiftly before firefighting operations began.
