Al Barsha Building Fire: Residents Evacuated Near Mall of the Emirates

A fire broke out in a building near Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates on Sunday night but was successfully extinguished.

Social media videos captured the building in Al Barsha engulfed in flames, with thick smoke billowing into the night sky.

When visited the site on Monday, the building’s facade was seen covered in black soot, while ground-floor retail shops remained closed.

Public Safety Measures in Place

To ensure public safety, authorities have sealed off the street in front of the building. Only one lane remains open to allow vehicle passage and facilitate emergency operations.

Quick Emergency Response

According to an eyewitness, firefighters and first responders arrived within minutes of the fire being reported. The building was evacuated swiftly before firefighting operations began.

Instagram videos show emergency teams working at the site to control and extinguish the blaze.
