Carlos Alcaraz demonstrated his mastery at Indian Wells, advancing to the final 16 with a dominant straight-set triumph over Denis Shapovalov. The World No. 3 put on display his trademark forceful style, overpowering his opponent with aggressive groundstrokes and accurate shot-placing. His recent performance confirms that he is among the tournament favorites, as he seeks to reclaim the championship.

On the women’s side, Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Madison Keys all advanced to the next round with dominating victories. Sabalenka, the current Australian Open champion, put on a show of confidence, dominating her opponent with her persistent baseline game.
