Apple has announced plans to open its fifth store in the UAE in 2025. The upcoming store will be located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, marking another milestone in the tech giant’s expansion in the region.

In a statement, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared, “The UAE is home to an incredible community of creators, innovators, developers, and entrepreneurs. We’re excited to grow our teams, support local businesses, and strengthen ties with our customers here.”

The Al Ain store aims to provide a unique shopping and learning experience for visitors, showcasing Apple’s innovative products and services. It will serve as a hub for customers across the region to explore and connect with Apple technology.

Tim Cook added, “We’re thrilled to open our newest store in Abu Dhabi and share the magic of Apple with even more people.”

Apple’s presence in the UAE has grown significantly over the years. In the past five years, the company has invested over Dh6 billion in the country, supporting more than 38,000 jobs and working closely with Emirati businesses. The thriving iOS app economy also plays a crucial role in this growth.

The UAE’s developer community continues to contribute significantly to the nation’s economy. Since the App Store’s launch, developers in the UAE have earned nearly Dh5 billion by selling digital goods and services globally, with earnings rising by more than 750% since 2019.
