India’s cricketing elite gathered for the BCCI Naman Awards 2025 where the nation’s finest cricketers were given a night to remember, this time in the city of Mumbai. It is a night for both veteran icons and new-age stars to cherish their great work for the game. Among such star-studded winners, names like Sachin Tendulkar and Jasprit Bumrah stand tall, adding one more feather in their illustrious caps.

In a highly memorable moment, Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award and thus earned his place as India’s cricketing legend forever. His two-decade career has inspired numerous generations of cricket players across the globe. Celebrating Tendulkar’s achievements on and off the field marked a new chapter in Indian cricket history.

Meanwhile, India’s Best International Cricketer was Jasprit Bumrah who solidified his position as one of the world’s top speed bowlers. Talk of deadly yorkers and pinpoint accuracy- this is perhaps what defines him. Still, Bumrah has been a key player in the success of India in all formats. This award comes on the back of several match-winning performances that have elevated him to international stardom.

The evening also saw Smriti Mandhana take home the Best International Female Cricketer award, for her consistent brilliance in women’s cricket. Special honors were also given to Ravichandran Ashwin, who received the BCCI Special Award, and Sarfaraz Khan, who took home the Best International Debut Award. These accolades are a testament to the depth of talent in Indian cricket, from established legends to rising stars, as the sport continues to thrive across the globe.
