In a feel-good twist of fate, a team of 10 friends and colleagues from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh won the latest Big Ticket Abu Dhabi weekly draw, pocketing a collective prize of Dh150,000. The team had been pooling their resources for months hoping to win — and their efforts finally paid off.

The fortunate winners, who come from various South Asian nationalities, claim the victory is not only a monetary gain but also a reflection of togetherness and common aspirations. Each winner will receive Dh15,000, and most intend to use the funds for family expenses, savings, and house-building projects in their respective countries of origin.

The group also got complimentary entrance tickets for future draws, keeping their hopes alive to win the grand prize. Their case is encouraging other expat workers to join in such community-based ticket pooling to boost their chances.

Organizers of the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi draw highlighted the sustained popularity of the competition, particularly among South Asian expats, with millions of dirhams in prizes remaining to be won in the coming weeks.
