In a ghastly incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur, BJP executive member Yogesh Rohilla shot his wife and three children, killing two of his children. Rohilla was arrested on the spot, and police have initiated a proper investigation into the tragedy.
Authorities say the wife and one child are still critically injured and under medical care. The reason behind the attack has yet to be determined, although preliminary reports point towards a domestic fight.
There has been no official word on the issue from the BJP so far. People and political leaders have reacted sharply to the act, terming it condemnable and demanding instant justice.
