Abu Dhabi will this September introduce a compelling new experience in the form of Butterfly Gardens — the capital’s first interactive butterfly garden. Designed to provide an educational and tranquil experience, the attraction is to be a sanctuary for families, tourists, and nature lovers.
The indoor haven will be home to thousands of butterflies from across the globe, flying freely in a controlled climate zone simulated to mimic their native environments. Tendrils of greenery, flowering plants, and hands-on displays will bring visitors face to face with the life cycle of the delicate butterflies.
Located within a large biodome, the Butterfly Gardens also hopes to promote an awareness of conservation, biodiversity, and the significance of pollinators in maintaining ecosystems. There are guided tours, educational initiatives, and photogenic installations incorporated into the experience for visitors.
As Abu Dhabi further diversifies its tourism products, the Butterfly Gardens will be a highlight family destination. With its educational and magical blend of appeal, it perfectly fits the capital’s vision of sustainable and accessible urban destinations.
