Inside Scoop on Abu Dhabi’s Ultra-Luxury Island refuge Together with Eagle Hills, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is preparing to launch its most ambitious hospitality project to date: an opulent private island refuge off the Corniche in Abu Dhabi. The horseshoe-shaped paradise, which is expected to open in 2030, would combine Arabian grandeur and Italian grace with 60 boutique suites, 30 beachfront villas, and 90 expansive private mansions.
A Monument of Privacy, Glass, and Gold
The resort’s distinctive gold and glass design, created by Milan-based ACPV ARCHITECTS, rises naturally from the sandy shoreline, paying homage to both Roman workmanship and Emirati grandeur.
Experiences in Signature Lifestyles Await
In addition to the private Yacht Club with a 40-berth marina, the resort will have a fitness centre, a 25-meter lap pool, and a 2,000-square-meter Bvlgari Spa.
Culinary highlights include Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the Japanese concept Hōseki, beachfront dining at La Spiaggia, a Turkish restaurant, Il Caffè, and the Bvlgari Bar. A-la-carte boutiques will serve designer goods and Bvlgari Dolci specialties.
Vision: Monumental Luxury Rooted in Culture
Jean‑Christophe Babin, Bvlgari’s CEO, calls the destination “a monument” — a true ultra-luxury retreat rooted in exclusivity and privacy. Accessible only by bridge or boat, the island preserves its serenity while being just minutes from Abu Dhabi.
