As the New Year approaches, Dubai residents and tourists have the chance to welcome 2025 with incredible celebrations on the waters of the emirate.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced special services and offers for marine transport on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2024. You can enjoy the festivities aboard the Dubai Ferry, Water Taxi, or Abra, offering a unique way to experience the city’s iconic landmarks.

Stunning Views of Dubai’s Landmarks

Passengers will have the opportunity to see stunning views of Burj Khalifa, Bluewaters, Atlantis, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Towers, and more. Residents and visitors can enjoy a cruise along the Dubai coastline, taking in the beauty of hotels, heritage sites, and famous landmarks like The World Islands as they welcome the New Year in style.

Timings and Fares for Marine Transport

Dubai Ferry

  • Fees: Dh350 for Silver Class, Dh525 for Gold Class.
    • Discount: 50% off for children aged 2–10 years; free for children under 2.
  • Stations: Marina Mall (Dubai Marina), Al Ghubaiba, and Bluewaters.
  • Timings: Departure between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM, with the cruise ending at 1:30 AM.

Water Taxi

  • Fees: Dh3,750 to charter a full Water Taxi.
  • Station: Marina Mall (Dubai Marina).
  • Timings: Departure between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM, concluding at 1:30 AM.

Abra

  • Fees: Dh150 per person; free for children under 2.
  • Stations: Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba, and Marina Mall (Dubai Marina).
  • Timings: Departure between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM, with the trip ending at 1:30 AM.
