More than 250 enthusiastic volunteers came together to clean Al Bahya Beach – Al Sadr Slipway in Abu Dhabi, successfully collecting an impressive 961kg of waste. This beach cleanup event, which took place on November 28, 2024, was organized by Miral, Abu Dhabi’s top creator of immersive destinations, in partnership with Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center. Their collaborative efforts highlighted a strong dedication to environmental preservation and community engagement.

Participants included committed community members, students, and staff from various organizations. The event was held in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi, showcasing a united vision for a cleaner and more sustainable coastline.

Miral and Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center, recognized for their commitment to marine conservation, stressed the significance of such initiatives in raising awareness about environmental challenges. This cleanup not only revitalized the shoreline but also served as a compelling reminder of the positive impact that collective action can have on safeguarding natural habitats.

The success of the event has ignited enthusiasm for future initiatives, motivating individuals and organizations to persist in their efforts toward environmental stewardship. It stands as a powerful example of what community-driven action can achieve in creating a cleaner and healthier planet for generations to come.
