Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled Reaches Singapore, Strengthening UAE-Singapore Ties

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at Parliament House in Singapore

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has arrived at Parliament House in Singapore. Today is the first day of his visit to the Republic of Singapore.

On his arrival, he was received by Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Then an official reception ceremony was arranged. Wong escorted Sheikh Khaled to the ceremonial platform. Both the national anthems of the UAE and Singapore were played.

After the ceremony, Sheikh Khaled and Prime Minister Wong inspected a guard of honor placed in the reception hall of Parliament. Sheikh Khaled met the different Singaporean officials who welcomed the official UAE delegation and the accompanying His Highness with warm arms.

It signifies an evolutionary step in the development of UAE-Singapore relations. This visit will open more channels for joint efforts between the two countries in various spheres like technology, economic growth, and cultural exchange.

The Crown Prince is going to visit high-ranking officials and leaders. He has visited with various important UAE officials and politicians, to negotiate new strategic relationships.

The UAE delegation accompanying Sheikh Khaled is comprised of prominent personalities like Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; and Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development, among others.

This visit marks the start of a landmark in greater cooperation between the UAE and Singapore. This official visit shows Sheikh Khaled’s vision for global partnerships based on mutual growth and innovation.
