Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd announced today that it has signed lease agreements with Eastar Jet for three new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, expected to be delivered in mid-2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, stated, “We are happy to announce this new agreement with Eastar Jet, which strengthens our ongoing partnership.

Adding these three Boeing 737-8 aircraft to their fleet will help Eastar Jet expand its network and meet the growing demand for affordable regional travel. We congratulate the Eastar Jet team on their success and look forward to many more years of working together.”

Cho Joong-seok, CEO of Eastar Jet, said, “We are excited to enhance our partnership with DAE by adding three new Boeing 737-8 aircraft. With over 20 destinations and plans for growth, these new planes will help us meet our customers’ needs and improve our service, reliability, and value. We appreciate DAE’s support as we strengthen our position as a low-cost carrier in the Asia-Pacific region.”

The Boeing 737 MAX is designed for better efficiency, environmental performance, and passenger comfort in the single-aisle market. It features advanced engines and aerodynamic improvements, delivering strong economic performance while reducing fuel consumption and emissions by 20% compared to earlier models.

DAE currently owns and manages a total of 500 aircraft, including 215 from Boeing, and plans to grow its fleet further to meet increasing market demand.
