Daredevil Drifting at Dubai Autodrome: A Thrilling Show of Skill and Precision

The Dubai Autodrome was alive with excitement as the Redbull Car Park Drift event. It is crafted by Lebanese drift champion Abdo Feghali.

The show attracted thrill-seekers and motor enthusiasts from around the world. This two-day event, featuring nearly 43 participants.

They celebrated the art of drifting with adrenaline-pumping stunts, putting the skill, precision, and bravery of each competitor to the test. Spectators flocked to witness the jaw-dropping maneuvers.

The audience was also excited to see who would be crowned Dubai’s top drifter. The show was set to represent the UAE in the prestigious grand finale in Oman on December 6, 2024.

The competition layout pushed drivers to execute complex drifting maneuvers on a technical course. The competition included high-speed straights, tight hairpin turns, and tricky obstacles.

Each participant had to perform intricate moves like “flag touching”. The drivers expertly aligned their rear bumpers with designated markers with full control.

Other stunts involved tight corner drifts and perfectly timed handbrake turns. They ended up parking their cars in a specific spot with pinpoint accuracy—all while maintaining the drift.

As the event unfolded, the roar of engines and the scent of burning rubber filled the air. The drivers were trying to get the top scores based on their drift style, precision, and control.

Spectators were on the edge of their seats, watching cars glide at high speeds. They were narrowly missing obstacles, and creating thrilling moments with close calls and breathtaking maneuvers.

Each drift and spin drew cheers from the crowd. It heightening the excitement and setting a high bar for the competition.
With the stakes raised, each driver was not only aiming for victory in Dubai but also for a spot in the grand finale in Oman. The winner from Dubai will join champions from other UAE regions.
