Punjabi music star Diljit Dosanjh had another sold-out performance, this time at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Park. Instead of the usual opening act, Diljit captivated the crowd with a two-minute video in which he shared his belief in the oneness of God and humanity, speaking in Punjabi.

Though the video’s message was calm, Dosanjh burst onto the stage with high energy, kicking off with one of his biggest hits, GOAT. Dressed in his signature all-white traditional Punjabi outfit, complete with his iconic turban, he instantly electrified the audience.

His look has become so famous that many fans showed up wearing similar outfits, including young Arvin Singh and 7-year-old Ashvin Singh, who were dressed in the same style. Their parents, Sarabjiit Kaur and Gurpreet Singh, shared that they spent 20 days preparing the boys’ outfits, even dressing them in the parking lot since they drove down from Dubai. During the concert, Dosanjh repeatedly thanked fans for wearing the attire he made so popular.

He also engaged with the crowd, asking concert-goers where they were from, and was delighted to hear answers ranging from Dubai to India and Pakistan.

A Night Full of Music and Laughter

Diljit performed a mix of old and new hits, from Veer Vaar and 5 Taara to his recent Bollywood tracks like Ikk Kudi, Naina, Born To Shine, and Lemonade. The nearly 2.5-hour performance featured a 30-minute intermission, during which Diljit returned in a sleek all-black outfit, bringing even more energy to the show.

Throughout the night, he shared his thoughts on unity, explaining how “we are all one,” but he also kept the mood light with witty jokes. At one point, he made a triangle with his hands, a gesture that some fans linked to the ‘Illuminati’ symbol. Laughing it off, Diljit joked about being a member, keeping the audience entertained.

Diljit’s charm and generosity shone through as he gave away his sunglasses, a glove, and his jacket to fans in the crowd. He closed the night with Main Hoon Punjab from the movie Chamkila, as fireworks lit up the sky, marking the grand finale of the concert.

Originally from a small town in Punjab, Diljit has been in the music industry for over 25 years, rising to global fame and putting his hometown on the map. As one fan put it, “That song is now his anthem,” as the concert wrapped up, showing just how far Diljit has come in his career.
