Dubai Airports is ready to manage the expected increase in passenger traffic during the rainy season, with plans to accommodate an impressive 23.3 million travelers in the last quarter of 2024. This effort is part of a broader strategy to handle an anticipated annual passenger count of 91.9 million at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, stated that comprehensive plans and teamwork are in place to address the challenges posed by high traffic and weather-related disruptions. Through extensive collaboration with government agencies and strategic partners, the airport has enhanced its operational framework to ensure smooth passenger flow, even during peak times.

Key initiatives include leveraging advanced passenger data analytics to streamline operations and holding regular meetings with stakeholders to anticipate potential surges. Moreover, the teams are well-prepared to respond quickly and effectively to any challenges that may arise.

This proactive strategy not only underscores Dubai Airports’ commitment to providing outstanding service but also solidifies its status as one of the world’s premier aviation hubs.
