Dubai Approves Dh277m Performance Bonuses for Government Staff

Dubai has approved a massive Dh277 million in performance-based bonuses for government staff, as directed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The bonuses are intended to reward exceptional contributions and performance by staff in different government departments.

The announcement reflects Dubai’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within its public sector. Authorities have highlighted that the bonuses will be awarded based on performance evaluations and adherence to government excellence frameworks.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of motivating employees who consistently exceed expectations and drive innovation, helping to advance Dubai’s strategic vision and development goals.

The bonuses will further boost worker morale and efficiency, with a view to seeing Dubai remain the benchmark for effective and efficient management both within and outside the region.
