Dubai Businessman Donates Dh11.3 Million to Fund 4,000 Dialysis Sessions

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, a well-known businessman and philanthropist from Dubai, has donated Dh11.3 million to the Al Jalila Foundation, the charitable arm of Dubai Health. This significant contribution will fund 4,000 dialysis sessions annually for underprivileged patients in the UAE. The funds will also go towards renovating the nephrology unit at Dubai Hospital.

The updated nephrology unit will be named after the late Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi to honor his dedication to philanthropy and community service. The funds for this renovation come from Al Suwaidi’s estate, which is managed by Al Habtoor in accordance with Al Suwaidi’s wishes.

Al Habtoor’s Commitment to Healthcare

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, expressed his pride in supporting this initiative. He said:

He also shared his honor in having the renovated nephrology unit named after Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi.
