Dubai declares free parking for the Eid Al Adha holiday period

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) offers free public parking in all charged zones during Eid Al Adha holidays. This gesture is part of the Emirate’s attempts to make movement easier and the festive season more convenient for the public.

The free parking will be in effect until the end of the Eid break, offering relief to residents and visitors attending family gatherings, prayers, and celebratory events. It applies to all RTA-managed parking zones, except for multi-level parking terminals, which will continue to charge regular fees.

Parking prices will resume as usual on Monday, June 9. Motorists should consult official channels for any particular updates on timing and zone exceptions to avoid confusion once fees are reinstated.

This programme is one of several measures implemented by Dubai authorities to improve the overall vacation experience, including expanded public transportation availability and strengthened safety regulations throughout the city.
