In a major aid mission, the biggest Gaza-bound aid vessel has embarked from Dubai and is transporting 5,820 tonnes of aid supplies. The ship, called the Zayed Humanitarian Ship, is under the UAE’s Gallant Knight 3 Operation initiative, designed to bring critical support to the Palestinians.
The aid shipment comprises food, medicines, shelter, and basic assistance to benefit families hit by the current crisis. The UAE has been continuously engaged in humanitarian flights to Gaza, with this current shipment reaffirming its continued efforts to give sustained relief.
The Gallant Knight 3 Operation, initiated at the behest of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has already enabled the airlifting and shipping of thousands of tonnes of aid.
