Dubai Extends Metro, Tram Hours for UAE National Day Weekend

Residents in Dubai are set to enjoy a four-day weekend for National Day celebrations, and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made adjustments to public transport schedules to ensure easy travel across the city.

Free Parking in Dubai

Drivers won’t need to pay for parking on December 1 and 2, except for multi-storey parking facilities.

Dubai Metro Timings

  • Saturday, November 30: 5 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Sunday, December 1: 8 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Monday, December 2: 5 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Tuesday, December 3: 5 AM – 12 AM

Dubai Tram Operating Hours

  • Saturday, November 30: 6 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Sunday, December 1: 9 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Monday, December 2: 6 AM – 1 AM (next day)
  • Tuesday, December 3: 6 AM – 1 AM (next day)

Dubai Bus Routes

Some bus services will have route changes during the National Day holiday. Passengers are advised to check the S’hail app for updates.

Suspended Routes:

  • E100: Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi (November 29 – December 3). Use E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station.
  • E102: Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Mussafah Community (November 29 – December 3). Use this route from Ibn Battuta instead.

Water Taxi Timings

  • Marina Mall – Bluewaters (BM3): 4 PM – 11:50 PM (on-demand 3 PM – 11 PM, booking required).
  • Marina Mall 1 – Marina Walk (BM1): 10 AM – 11:10 PM.
  • Marina Promenade – Marina Mall 1 (BM1): 1:50 PM – 9:45 PM.

Dubai Ferry Schedule

  • Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Water Canal (FR1): 1 PM, 6 PM.
  • Bluewaters – Marina Mall (FR2): 2:55 PM, 7:55 PM.
  • Tourist Trips from Marina Mall (FR4): 11:30 AM, 4:30 PM.

Abra Schedules

  • Old Dubai Souq – Baniyas (CR3): 10 AM – 10:50 PM.
  • Al Fahidi – Al Sabkha (CR4): 10 AM – 11:15 PM.
  • Al Jaddaf – Dubai Festival City (BM2): 7:30 AM – 4 PM.

Tourist Trips

  • Al Seef, Al Fahidi, Baniyas (TR10): 4 PM – 10:15 PM.
  • Dubai Water Canal – Sheikh Zayed Station (TR6): 4 PM – 10:15 PM.
