Dubai Gears Up for Global Encounters Festival: 4,000 Young Talents and 25,000 Visitors Expected

Extended metro hours are anticipated, with Shehzad Roy and Shreya Ghoshal as the main acts. The Global Encounters Festival 2025, a dynamic cultural and artistic event that is anticipated to attract over 4,000 young people and 25,000 tourists from around the world, is slated to take place in Dubai.

About the Festival:

Beginning on July 20, 2025, the Dubai World Trade Centre will host the Global Encounters Festival. The event will bring together young changemakers, creatives, and innovators representing diverse cultures, skills, and passions.

Star-Studded Line-Up:

The cultural gala will get star power as Pakistani pop superstar Shehzad Roy and Bollywood singing wonder Shreya Ghoshal will lead the entertainment portions of the event.

Dubai Metro Extended:

To guarantee easy and secure transportation for festival-goers, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has extended Metro running hours in anticipation of the anticipated surge in guests. It will accommodate the sizable foreign population, extra transportation and security measures have been put in place.

What to Expect:

Over the course of many days, there will be performances, exhibits, youth forums, and interactive workshops. Themes will centre on young empowerment, global solidarity, sustainability, and innovation.
