Dubai Introduces Three New Bus Routes Starting November 29

Dubai is adding three new bus routes from Friday, November 29, as announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). These routes aim to improve connectivity and enhance travel convenience for residents and visitors.

Details of the New Routes

  • Route 108:
    This route will directly connect Satwa Bus Station to Global Village. It will operate on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during special events. Service timings are from 2 PM to 1 AM, with 11 trips daily in each direction and a frequency of 60 minutes.
  • Route F63:
    A Dubai Metro feeder service, it links Al Ras Metro Station to Union Bus Station via Al Khaleej Street and Naif Street.
  • Route J05:
    This route connects Mira Community to Dubai Studio City, passing through Neshama Townhouses.

Adjustments to Existing Bus Routes

On the same day, the RTA will make updates to multiple routes to improve travel efficiency and comfort. Key changes include:

  • Route 5: Will now run between Abu Hail Bus Station and Union Bus Station in both directions, no longer stopping at Al Ras Metro Station.
  • Route 14: Adjusted to operate in two directions, terminating at Business Bay Metro Station.
  • Route 33: Shortened to end at Karama Bus Station instead of Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
  • Route 91: Updated to serve Business Bay en route to Jebel Ali Bus Station and include the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) stop.

Streamlined Routes for Better Coverage

  • Route J02: Shortened to enhance travel between Arabian Ranches and Dubai Production City.
  • Route J04: Adjusted to include Sports City, with reduced stops in Dubai Studio City.
  • Route F38: Extended to serve Al Jurf Heights Group.
  • Route F39: Updated to include Etihad Mall.
  • Route X92: Modified to stop at DMCC Metro Station while reducing stops at Dubai Investment Park.

Comprehensive Route Enhancements

The RTA will improve 30 bus routes to better align with bus arrival times. These include routes: 7, 13D, 14, 20A, 21A, 21B, 30, 32C, 33, 34, 43, 44, 63E, 67, 91, DH1, E700, F05, F07, F23, F26, F38, F39, F54, F63, J01, J02, J04, J05, and X92.
