Dubai is in preparation for its much-awaited event, the Dubai Marathon 2025, which will take place on January 12. The authorities have promised that key roads in Dubai would be temporarily closed to allow the event to be held smoothly. Traffic diversion will start in the early hours of January 12, and the normal flow of traffic is expected to resume mid-afternoon.
To avoid inconvenience, the Dubai Police and RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) have suggested that residents plan their journey and take alternative routes. Public transport services, including the Dubai Metro, will be available at higher frequencies to facilitate commuters and spectators. The event organizers are also encouraging participants and attendees to reach the venue early and adhere to all safety measures.
