Following the enormous fire at a Dubai Marina residential building, affected residents have started to receive assistance as temporary housing arrangements are being made.
The owners association of the building has assured that it is in close coordination with the insurance firm to ensure prompt relief. Residents who were displaced and evacuated due to the blaze are being given priority for alternative housing.
As per the association, homeowners and tenants impacted by the fire must:
Make their details known to building management on an urgent basis.
Submit identification and residency proof.
Remain in touch for insurance cover and housing allocation updates.
In a statement, the Owners Association is “working tirelessly to ensure every resident has a safe place to stay while repair and assessment work continues.”
Emergency services and authorities acted quickly when the fire happened, with there being no reported fatalities. Nevertheless, numerous units were rendered uninhabitable, requiring the immediate need for relocation options.
What Affected Residents Should Do:
Stop by help desk or management office in lobby of building.
Present documents needed for verification.
Be available by phone/email for information about housing placement.
Connect with the insurance representative after assignment.
Residents are encouraged to be patient as damage assessments and processing of insurance claims are in progress. Support lines and helplines are likely to be rolled out soon.
